I've had 401ks with Vanguard, Fidelity, Merrill Lynch, etc. And Schwab is by far my favorite to use. I'm thinking of opening up my solo 401k with Schwab. Also looked into Fidelity, E-trade and TDAmeritrade. But Schwab has basically the identical funds with lower expense ratios, and often more options. I'm not looking into Vanguard for my solo 401k since they don't accept rollovers. Fidelity definitely has attractive brokerage account features and indexes.
